Are we set to become the best local producer in the Cotswolds?

The 2017 Cotswolds Life Food & Drink takes place in July, and Stroud favourite, Kitchen Garden, have been chosen as a finalist in the Best Local Supplier/Producer category.

Founded in 1989, from the kitchen table of the late Barbara Moinet, Kitchen Garden are artisan producers of premium jams, chutneys, marmalades & condiments and in 2013 launched Wolfys Porridge adding to their ever-growing success story. They now supply in excess of 500 establishments. Kitchen Garden are hoping to add another win to their already substantial collection of over 50 awards and are up against local favourite Cotswold Gold & Nailsworth based Nom Nom Cupcakery. Commercial Director, and joint owner, James Horwood, said: “Awards are fantastic acolades and mean a lot to us, but this award would be something really special. An award on home turf. The Cotswold Life Food & Drink awards are the biggest event in the Cotswold calendar and have been since they started 15 years ago. We’re so pleased to be part of the final line up and winning would mean a huge amount to us and our staff who continue to put in so much effort to make these products to such impeccably high standards” Operations Director, and joint owner, James Moinet, added: “We’re up against some stiff competition – Cotswold Gold are very successful and Nom Nom Cupcakery have a lot to shout about and are very popular cake makers in this area.”
